The idea is that when people search the Internet they end up reading your content which will probably be based around a product or service that they are interested in,  then if they click on a link in your content it takes them to the website of a person or company that is selling what they might be interested in, if they make a purchase then you get paid a commission.

Some commissions might only be $5-10 each but they soon add up when you can get a lot of them, but it is also fairly common for commissions to be much higher. Products offering $30-50 per commission are not hard to find and it can go way beyond that, hundreds and even sometimes thousands are sometimes paid for a single commission.

So if you target your content at the right audience for the right product then you’d only need about 4-5 sales a day on something paying $47 to earn over $200/day!

Now I’m not going to kid you and say that it’s really easy to achieve that straight away, but it can be done if you get the right training and support, and then put the effort in.

If their link goes straight to a shopping cart then they’re probably either selling their own products or drop-shipping, if you don’t know what that is then don’t worry because it’s a bit more complicated than affiliate marketing for some people.

If the link goes to another website first though then you probably just found an affiliate website, and there are thousands if not millions out there, so you can soon establish that this is a real way that you can start to run a money making home business.
